Welcome to our College Basketball column where we look at the current and future landscape. The goal of this daily column is to present a number of opportunities that could lead to an edge for investment. Here is a look at a few of the areas we will look to cover through Conference Tournaments leading up to the Big Dance.
KILL SHOT
Kill Shot opportunities. Read more about the definitions and requirements for a Kill Shot at EvanMiya. Defined as a scoring run of 10 straight points, we look at the teams with the highest probability of a 10-0 run facing teams with a high probability of Kill Shot allowed. This will provide live betting angles that have a historical winning advantage.
Halftime Trends
First and Second Half trends. Late in the season, college basketball teams have developed a tendency to start slow and finish fast or vice versa. This area will look at teams numbers against the spread for the First and Second Half.
Projected Spreads and Totals
Based on expected possessions, efficiency and free throw rates. While most operators build totals based upon average scoring totals, Three Straight takes an extra step to integrate advanced analytics. Teams that get to the free throw line often with a high shooting percentage are weighted towards Overs. Teams that have do not have a offensive rebounding or free throw rate tend to have more Unders.
