As we exit March Madness, the college sporting world belongs to College Baseball. With the end of March it is a great time to take a temperature check on the Futures market. My goal is to assess each midweek, determining if a number has value with regards to winning the College World Series. Every week I will publish a Futures Top 10, a ranking that will focus on the value of the number and not so much on who can win Omaha. There may not be a team out there equipped to beat Tennessee, but from a market value standpoint, less than 5/1 on the Volunteers leaves better options.
Here is our Top 10 Ranking of the best College Baseball futures (odds per DraftKings):

Notes for the latest Top 10:
- Arkansas +900 moves into the top spot. The pitching has been stellar despite the loss of Gage Wood, who is expected to return to the mound soon. Landon Beidelschies has filled in nicely on Sunday’s, but regression is coming with a 6.28 FIP. The big news is the power of the sticks. The Razorbacks are now fourth nationally in home runs per game, an aspect that plagued the Hogs in 2024.
- Georgia +2000 is certainly the buy this week if you do not have a ticket, a number scooped at 40/1 in early February. Winning in the SEC is tough enough, but to sweep Florida on the road while limiting the Gators to just 13 runs over three games is highly impressive.
- There is no doubt Erik Bakich will have the Tigers as an ACC national title contender year in and year out. Clemson +1800 hosted Wake Forest over the weekend, dropping a Saturday slugfest. If Bakich can get Michigan baseball to the Championship Series in Omaha, there is no reason to believe Clemson cannot do the same.
- The Demon Deacons get a spot inside the top 10 over a number of other ACC and SEC names that are in consideration for market value. Wake Forest +3500 swept Notre Dame and Miami at home before losing two of three at Clemson. Currently top 10 in every offensive category, the question was always if the Deacs could rebound with the losses on the pitching staff. Missouri transfer Logan Lunceford has been fantastic as the Friday starter with 56 strikeouts through 32 innings. This number will be reassessed before a monster series at Florida State +1800 starting April 4th.
- Oklahoma +5000 might be the most fluid number on the board this week. Only three losses so far this season with series victories over South Carolina and Mississippi State. The Sooners next two series against Alabama +2500 and LSU +750 will determine if our preseason future has any shot of being a contender for making the trip north on Interstate 35.
