ERA – Earned run average: total number of earned runs (ER * 9 / IP)
WHIP – Walks and hits per inning pitched: average number of walks and hits allowed by the pitcher per inning.
FIP – Fielding Independent Pitching: similar to ERA, but removes results on balls hit into the field of play.

Some additional betting related terms:

Spread – The point spread is the pre-game estimated margin of victory for a team. A plus sign in front of the number indicates an underdog. A minus sign indicates a favorite.
ATS Record – Against the Spread. The record of a team that covers the pre-game betting spread. For example, if a team is -1.5, they need to win by 2 points to cover.
O/U Record – Number of times a team scores more (over) or less (under) the pre-game betting estimated total scores of a game.
Vig – Also knows as Juice. A second set of odds that serves as the price of placing the bet. For example, a vig of -110 means a bettor would have to wager $110 to win $100.
